And another conference presentation

In Toronto for the weekend to do a presentation on our research at Tell es-Safi/Gath at the Zooarchaeology and Landscape conference at the University of Toronto – a joint paper titled: The ‘Desert and the Sown’: domestic animal exploitation and management strategies during the Early Bronze Age at Tell es-Safi/Gath, Israel, with me, Tina L. Greenfield, Elizabeth R. Arnold and Aren M. Maeir. Our paper actually investigates where the different resources that are exploited at Tell es-Safi/Gath come from. We show that they come from as far afield as the Indus Valley, Egypt, Galilee, Jordan Valley, and the region around the site itself.
